See, I know a lot of high school kids, and even undergrad kids, are worried because they don’t know what their future holds or what their plans are or even what they want to do for a career. Well, I can tell you that I have never been more absolutely sure over anything than the fact that I am going to be a doctor. I can also tell you that it is the most scary, horrific, stressful feeling of my life: knowing what you have to be and knowing that you’re own imperfection can be your downfall at any moment. It just magnifies every piece of writing, every test. IB exams are petrifying and it’s the feeling that if I don’t get into the perfect research based university than I’m screwed forever. 

To know what you want is beautiful but to not have a Plan B is terrifying.
